Uptown Business Improvement District is a nonprofit organization based in North Long Beach dedicated to enhancing the local business community and improving neighborhood vitality. The organization focuses on creating positive change through community programs, beautification efforts, and small business support that make a real difference in North Long Beach. Hunnibuzz has partnered with Uptown for several years, providing ongoing marketing, creative, and branding support. The collaboration has been both dynamic and deeply meaningful for the team. In a full circle moment, Giulia, Hunnibuzz’s co-founder, began her creative journey as an intern with Uptown while in college, making this continued partnership especially rewarding.

Monthly Marketing Services
As an ongoing marketing client, Uptown works with Hunnibuzz on a flexible, monthly basis. Each month, the organization utilizes its allocated hours for a range of creative services that evolve with their needs. These services include event photography, professional headshots, social media design and management, newsletters, and general graphic design for marketing materials such as flyers and promotional assets. This approach ensures consistency across all communication channels while keeping their visual presence fresh and community focused.

Brand Refresh
Recently, Hunnibuzz completed a comprehensive brand refresh for Uptown, introducing an updated logo, new illustrations, and custom patterns. The refreshed identity was designed to reflect the growth, energy, and community spirit of North Long Beach. The new visual system highlights Uptown’s ongoing efforts in neighborhood and business improvement, reinforcing its position as a vibrant and trusted leader within the community.
